These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Solid oak, hung on the wall, built for the renovation you planned on paper.
Each vanity shelf is cut from solid oak with its live edge intact — 20 inches wide, 12 high, 18 deep. The board dries in a temperature-controlled kiln before it is ever cut, then gets shaped by hand and sealed for the steam and splash of a working bathroom. Oak's closed, tannin-rich grain earned its keep in whiskey barrels first.
Small bathrooms punish anything that sits on the floor, which is why this shelf hangs from concealed brackets instead. The floor runs clear, the mop passes under, and the room reads bigger than the tape measure says. When the renovation reveal finally happens, this is the piece hands reach for — real oak where they expected laminate.

Barrel-grade structure
Janka hardness near 1,350 and tyloses-plugged pores — the closed-cell structure that kept whiskey inside barrels sheds bathroom steam just as well, through furnace winters and long August showers.
Deepens with the decades
The shelf ages by gaining color, not wear — a slow amber shift in daily light. The oak will look more settled at year ten than the day the renovation wrapped.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Oak boards are pulled one at a time for figure and a clean live edge by selectors with thirty years at the lumber stacks. Twisted or checked stock never makes the cut.
The shaping process
The shelf is cut slightly proud of its 20-by-18-inch line, the live edge preserved for the handwork that follows.
The hand refinement
Top, underside, and edge are sanded through five successive grits until the front corner feels right against an open palm.
The final inspection
The moisture-resistant finish cures in thin coats. The maker seats the brackets, checks the shelf against a level, and signs it out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Will these shelves hold up in a humid bathroom?
Yes — with one honest habit. Solid oak is dense, tannin-rich, and closed-pored — the tyloses-plugged structure that kept whiskey inside barrels — and the board is kiln-dried before cutting, so daily steam swings do not move it. Wipe off standing water, run the fan, and the shelf will outlast the tile it hangs over.
What lengths and depths are available?
Standard lengths run from about 16 to 36 inches, but every shelf is made to order — send us the width of your alcove or wall and we cut to it, so the shelf fits the bathroom instead of almost fitting.
What does mounting involve?
Shelves ship with concealed brackets and hardware for both studs and masonry. Anchor into at least one stud where possible; over tile, use the included anchors and a quality masonry bit — a stud finder and a level are the whole toolkit.
How do I care for the wood near a shower?
Wipe off standing water after showers and let the shelf breathe. In a steamy bathroom, refresh the finish every few months — ten minutes with a cloth — and the oak stays even and rich. An oiled surface spot-repairs; a peeling film would not.
How is my order packed and shipped?
Every shelf is made to order, wrapped edge to edge, and boxed with rigid corner guards. Tracking arrives the day it ships, and if the box ever looks crushed, photograph it before opening — we make damage right.
