Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
A clean teak console top rides above a natural tree branch that doubles as its bookshelf — a two-in-one form the designer worked out at just twelve inches deep, so it clears the narrowest hall. Solid teak top and a real limb below, both shaped and oiled by hand; nothing veneered, nothing hollow.
Narrow entries defeat most tables — too deep to pass, too plain to matter. This one is drawn to the tape outline you chalk on the floor before ordering, and the teak dried twenty days in the kiln so a slim top stays dead flat instead of bowing. Guests heading for the door stop at the branch below, and the question comes every time — where did you find this?
Keys hit the top, mail slides beside them, the dog leash loops over the branch's elbow. 6:15 most evenings, thirty inches of teak absorbs the whole homecoming, and the oiled surface wipes clean where wet keys land.
The paperbacks you are actually mid-way through lean along the branch shelf — not the display books, the dog-eared ones. Sunday morning, coffee in hand, reaching for last night's chapter is a one-step trip past the front door.
A small lamp on the console clicks on before dinner, and the branch throws its crooked shadow up the hallway wall. On a winter evening the low sheen of oiled grain is the prettiest light in the house, and it isn't the lamp.

Tight, straight, even grain runs the length of the console top — the calm figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name. A palm laid flat finds the growth lines before the eye does.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and branch shelf, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin — it leaves the crate smelling of the woodshop, not of a chemical finish.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with some of the lowest shrinkage of any hardwood, the slim top holds flat through the dry forced-air winters that bow thinner tables.
Left alone by a bright window, teak eases toward a refined silver-grey — a surface change only. A light sanding and fresh oil bring the console's gold back anytime.
After twenty days in the kiln, tops are pulled board by board and paired with a branch that fits their span. Stock with twist, checks, or dull figure never makes the cut.
The top is cut slightly proud of its line while the branch is trimmed and fitted beneath it, shelf faces trued level so books stand straight.
Top edges and every branch curve are sanded by hand through successive grits until they feel right against an open palm.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level, joinery, and finish before the console leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
