Are the shelves solid or hollow inside?
Solid teak front to back — full-thickness stock, not a hollow torsion box, with no MDF anywhere. That is why it can be sanded and re-oiled for decades, the one test a veneer skin never survives.
What sizes can I order?
Lengths are cut to order, from a 12-inch accent to a 72-inch span. Depth adjusts too: six inches for frames and keys, ten or more for books and dishes. Made to order means the shelf fits your wall, not the other way around.
What is included for mounting?
Concealed steel brackets and hardware ship with every shelf, sized to its length. Anchor into studs for book loads; the included heavy-duty anchors handle lighter styling on drywall. Either way the wall line stays clean — no visible bracket.
How do I care for them?
Dust with a dry cloth, and avoid mounting directly above a heat register or radiator — constant rising heat dries any wood one-sided. A ten-minute wipe of oil once a year keeps the front edge rich; that small ritual is the whole maintenance plan.
How are shelves packed?
Each shelf is made to order, wrapped individually, and shipped in a rigid carton with corner protection, brackets and template packed alongside. Tracking is emailed the day your order leaves the workshop — and if anything arrives damaged, photograph the box and we make it right.
What fits on the curved shelf of this design?
The arched shelf is sized for everyday entry duty — keys, a vase, a framed photo, or a short row of books. The tall back panel carries the visual weight, so the shelf itself stays uncluttered by design.
