Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The designers kept what the tree already solved: limbs angled to hold, spaced to shed water. An artisan selects each branch section for sound wood and honest shape, sands every fork until a coat collar slides off without a snag, and hand-rubs oil until the teak glows against a plain wall — real wood where a hook usually means a chrome peg screwed into hollow board.
By the door it does the quiet work of a mudroom in two square feet. The coats that used to slide off a dining chair now land where they belong, and the morning hunt for one lost scarf ends. Teak dried twenty days in the kiln shrugs off a winter of wet collars without cracking, and the entry finally reads like someone lives here on purpose.
Seven-forty on a school morning: backpacks, two jackets, and one scarf nobody claims come off their branches in under a minute. The dog leash finds its fork, one kid fights a boot below, and the clutter stops here instead of spreading down the hall.
A soaked raincoat drips onto the mat from the highest hook, right where it landed without a thought. Teak spent centuries on ship decks in worse than this — one wet April jacket beads off the oiled fork and dries by morning, no water ring, no swelling.
Six coats at the door and the rack takes them all, but someone lingers there anyway — a hand resting on a smooth fork of the branch, asking if it came from a real tree. It did, and the honest answer is the quiet best part of hosting.

Tight, straight, even grain follows each branch from trunk to hook tip — the calm, consistent figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name. Under a passing hand the forks feel cool and dense, warmer than any metal peg on a January morning.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more along every limb and fork, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin that never feels like plastic — and it arrives smelling faintly of wood, not of the varnish fumes an imported rack off-gasses for weeks.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with some of the lowest shrinkage of any hardwood, the branches hold a winter's worth of loaded coats without flex or complaint — even as the furnace pulls the hallway air dry in December.
Indoors the teak stays golden and slowly deepens; it takes outdoor sun and rain to turn it silver, so a hallway rack keeps its warmth for years. Either way the change is surface-thin — a light sanding and fresh oil bring the rack back to gold anytime.
Branch sections are chosen one at a time for sound forks and useful angles. Cracked or brittle limbs never make the cut.
Each limb is trimmed to hanging length and cut slightly proud — leaving material for the handwork that finishes every hook end.
Forks and hook tips are sanded through successive grits until a coat collar slides on and off without a single snag.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker loads every hook and checks stance before the rack ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
