These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Every corner shelf is cut from a single piece of walnut, so the chocolate grain wraps the angle without a seam or a stain hiding a joint. The board is kiln-dried until the moisture meter reads done, so it holds its line through a heated winter rather than cupping one leg. Each side runs ten inches along both walls, hand-sanded on every visible face until the front edge asks to be touched.
It claims the one spot furniture never reaches — the meeting of two walls, where renters and homeowners alike lose square footage to nothing. A plant, a small lamp, a favorite object, and the dead corner becomes the detail guests point out first when they walk the room. Solid walnut, not a veneer triangle, so it can be sanded and re-oiled long after a laminate shelf would have chipped through.
The corner by the east window belonged to nothing for years. Now a fern sits at eye level on the walnut, catching the 8 a.m. light, and the living room finally reads finished instead of half-furnished around a blank angle.
The bed sits too close to the wall for a real nightstand, so the corner shelf carries the essentials — glasses, phone, the half-read novel — right where a hand lands in the dark at 3 a.m. without knocking anything over.

Straight grain broken by curls, waves, and darker mineral streaks wraps the corner of each shelf — chocolate tones that come from the tree itself, never from a stain sprayed to fake depth. In a west window the figure warms a shade over its first year.
A simple oil finish is all walnut asks. The shelf's top and front edge polish to a smooth, lustrous depth that pulls a hand across almost involuntarily — and arrives smelling of wood, not of lacquer curing in the box.
At about 1,010 on the Janka scale, the shelf absorbs the knocks of daily loading without turning brittle in a dry-heat winter — the same resilience that kept walnut in rifle stocks for a century.
The shelf settles into a warmer, more personal patina with each year of light and use, growing softer in tone rather than tired. Keep it a couple of feet from a heat vent and one leg will not lighten faster than the other.
A selector with thirty years at the stacks pulls walnut boards one at a time for figure worth showing at eye level. Stock with twist, hidden checks, or dull color never makes the cut.
The corner is traced from templates, then bandsawn slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the handwork that trues the angle to the wall.
Top, edges, and underside are sanded by hand through five successive grits until the front edge feels right against an open palm.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks the corner's fit, level, and finish before the shelf ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
