Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Handcrafted solid wood · Bathroom cabinet

The bathroom cabinet your morning routine deserves

The piece

The room where particleboard goes to swell.

A bathroom is where flat-pack furniture fails fastest — one season of shower steam finds the particleboard edge, and it swells, blisters, and sheds its sticker of printed wood. There is none of that here. This is solid teak, the wood commercial steam rooms and spas standardized on, working in the room it was practically bred for.

So the bathroom cabinet in the primary bathroom works without asterisks: towels behind a door that will not warp, bottles off the counter, the fan doing its usual job. Wipe standing water off the top and the wood asks nothing else — its own oils and silica have kept ship decks sound for centuries.

  • Deep shelves hold full-size bath towels folded in thirds
  • No particleboard core to swell at the edges
  • Closed doors clear the counter of bottles and clutter
  • Solid teak stands up to the daily steam cycle
  • Compact footprint suits powder rooms and narrow walls

It fits real homes.

The six-forty shuffle

6:40 on a school morning, two kids and one sink. The door swings, toothbrushes come out of their assigned cups, and the counter is clear again before the bus turns the corner. The cabinet runs this drill five days a week.

First solo toothbrushing

A four-year-old drags the step stool over, opens the lower door, and finds the cup with her initial on it. First solo toothbrushing. Her things live at her height, and she knows it.

The powder-room question

A dinner guest steps into the powder room and comes back mid-dessert asking about the cabinet. Real wood in a bathroom reads as a decision, and now the whole table wants to know who made it.

Every piece is made to order, and dimensions vary from one to the next. Need a different size for your space? Tell us your measurements and we'll build it to fit.

Teak, up close.

The grain

Honey and amber bands run the length of each plank. No two boards repeat, so your piece is the only one with this pattern.

The oils

Teak grows its own protective oils, and they carry the wood through dry winters and humid summers that crack lesser boards. Spills just need wiping up promptly.

The weight

Lift a corner and you feel dense, solid stock with no hollow frames or fillers. Kiln-dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put, even when the heat comes on.

The years ahead

Teak deepens toward a richer brown as it lives with you. A wipe of teak oil twice a year holds the tone you chose.

From plank to piece.

Select

Planks graded by practiced eyes, then kiln-dried slowly until they settle.

Mill

Each board cut, squared, and matched to the pattern.

Shape

Joined and eased with hand tools after the machines have done the rough work.

Finish

Sanded fine, then oiled until the grain reads deep.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Won't wood furniture get ruined in a steamy bathroom?
Teak is the wood commercial steam rooms, spas, and locker rooms standardized on — environments far wetter than any home bath. Its own oils and silica shed moisture, and it stays warm underhand where tile goes cold. The honest caveat: black spots on bath wood are mildew eating soap film on the surface, not the wood itself — run the fan and wipe standing water. A hard-working bathroom asks for fresh oil about once a year; twenty minutes covers it.
How should it be mounted or placed?
Freestanding cabinets sit on any level floor. Wall-hung versions must anchor into studs or masonry, never drywall plugs alone — a solid teak cabinet loaded with towels carries real weight, and that heft is also your proof it is not a hollow box. Keep either version out of the direct shower spray line, and the oil finish handles everything else the room does.
