Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The designers layered the composition like a real range — peaks behind peaks, a river cut winding the valley floor — so shadow, not paint, gives the dial its depth. An artisan carves the contours from joined solid teak blocks, block by block, and sets dark hands that read cleanly against the grain.
Wall decor is usually a print a thousand other living rooms also own. This carving cannot repeat: no two teak blocks share a grain, so your ridgelines exist exactly once. It changes with the light all day, keeps time on a movement you can replace in minutes, and holds the wall a poster never could.
Backpacks half-zipped, toast in hand, one look up at the carved peaks settles the argument: five more minutes. Early sun rakes across the ridgelines and throws them into relief, and the school-run clock earns its wall every weekday morning without a battery light or a screen to check.
Thursday, 11 am, the bird already in. Every trip between stove and table runs past the carved range, and the whole day's choreography hangs on those dark hands keeping honest time.
Late-winter sun rakes the living room wall and the ridgelines throw long shadows — the mountains catch a private alpenglow just as the workday ends and the lamps come on.

Tight, straight grain runs beneath the carved peaks, so the landscape reads as one calm field of wood — and up close the ridgelines show the faint tool facets no print or resin mold carries.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more across the contours so ridgelines and valleys hold their shadows in warm satin, and the face smells faintly of wood, not varnish, when the box opens.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, from blocks that finished twenty days in a controlled kiln, the carved face hangs flat on a furnace-heated wall instead of slowly cupping away from it.
Hanging indoors, the carving will not silver — that takes outdoor sun and rain. It deepens toward honey-amber over the years; keep it off walls with direct afternoon sun and the tone stays even.
Blocks are pulled one at a time so tone stays even across the carved range, each checked against the moisture meter. Twisted or dull figure never makes it.
Peaks, valleys, and the river line are traced from templates, then cut slightly proud — extra depth held back for the layered hand-carving.
Each contour is sanded through five grits, coarse to fine, so the ridgelines stay crisp while every surface feels smooth under a fingertip.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each with a cotton pad. The maker fits the movement, sets the hands, and runs the clock overnight before sign-out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
