General care
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Lift a corner and you feel dense, solid stock with no hollow frames or fillers. Kiln-dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put, even when the heat comes on.
The years ahead
Teak deepens toward a richer brown as it lives with you. A wipe of teak oil twice a year holds the tone you chose.
From plank to piece.

Planks graded by practiced eyes, then kiln-dried slowly until they settle.
Mill
Each board cut, squared, and matched to the pattern.

Joined and eased with hand tools after the machines have done the rough work.

Sanded fine, then oiled until the grain reads deep.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.
Questions customers usually ask
Is teak really safe inside a running shower?
Solid teak, through and through. It is the one wood that belongs in a running shower — its natural oils and silica resist water and rot without any sealer at all.
Can the bench be sized to my shower stall?
Yes. Benches are built to order, so width and height match your stall or wet room. Send the alcove measurements and we will size the bench with proper clearance.
Does it need installation?
Shower benches arrive assembled with stainless, rust-proof hardware and adjustable feet for sloped shower floors. Rated well beyond everyday seated weight, they need no wall attachment.
What care does teak need in a wet room?
Rinse soap residue off weekly and let the bench dry between showers. Re-oil every few months to hold the golden tone, or let it silver — the wood stays sound either way.
How does it ship?
Each bench is made to order and shipped in a compact padded box with feet fitted and hardware installed. Tracking is provided to you on the day of dispatch.
Can it live in the shower full-time?
Yes — teak is the default wood of commercial steam rooms and spas, environments wetter than any home bath, protected by its own oils and silica. Give it what a spa gives it: airflow after use, feet out of standing puddles where you can, and a fresh coat of oil once or twice a year if you want to hold the golden color rather than let it soften.
Won't it get moldy or slippery?
Black spots on bath teak are mildew feeding on soap scum sitting on the surface, not the wood itself — a rinse where the spray reaches and the exhaust fan running afterward starve it, and a squeegee habit means years of zero mold. Unlike tile or a plastic stool, teak stays grippy when wet, and it does not splinter wet-worn the way cedar can.
