Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The top is a single teak slab that keeps the tree's own outline, chosen board by board by selectors with thirty years at the lumber stacks, then dried twenty days in a controlled kiln so the wood finishes moving before the first cut. Our designers balanced the sculpted pedestal until the slab stood level from every seat, and artisans shaped, sanded, and hand-oiled it.
If the last dining table arrived flat in a box and left three years later at the curb, this is the correction: solid teak throughout, no veneer over particleboard to chip, a top you sand and re-oil at home for decades. Buy the cheap one four times in ten years and you have spent this much anyway, on a worse decade. This is the table already spoken for in the will.
Four o'clock on a school day: long-division pencil dents, a juice spill wiped up without a flinch, a laptop and two notebooks spread wide with nobody's elbows touching. By six the worksheets clear and dinner lands on the same warm slab.
Thanksgiving runs past three hours here. Grandpa pushes up from the pedestal end with nothing to wobble against, the kids' chairs tuck close where table legs would normally be, and hot dishes on trivets leave the oiled teak unbothered.
Six-fifteen on a Saturday, coffee set on the live edge, the crossword folded to one corner, the house still asleep. Low sun rakes along the bark line and lights the grain a different way than it did back in July.

Tight, straight, even grain runs the full length of the slab — the calm figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name. Trace it with a fingertip and the surface reads like satin, never like lacquer.
Teak carries its own natural oils and a faint sweet, leathery scent you notice the moment the crate opens. We hand-rub more into the top, deepening the gold to a warm satin that never smells of chemicals.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak, this slab and pedestal hold flat when the forced-air furnace drops your winter rooms to bone-dry. It takes two adults to carry, and that heft is the point.
Indoors the top deepens toward honey-amber over its first sunlit months. Outdoors it would silver to a soft grey — a paper-thin surface layer only, and a light sand with fresh oil brings the gold back in an afternoon.
Slabs are pulled one at a time for a live edge worth keeping, then kiln-dried twenty days so the moisture is gone before shaping starts. Stock with twist, checks, or dull figure never makes the cut.
The pedestal base is traced from templates and bandsawn slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork that sets its final profile.
The slab and its bark line are sanded through successive grits until every edge feels right against an open palm.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks the base, level, and finish before the table leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
