Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The designers kept this table low and unhurried — sixteen inches tall, classic lines, a top thick enough to earn its rustic name. Artisans select each teak board for figure, match the grain across the surface, then shape, sand, and oil the whole piece by hand — solid wood through the full thickness, no veneer to chip at a corner and no film to peel.
A coffee table lives closer to daily life than anything in the house, so the flat-pack one loosens and gets replaced every few years. This one takes sweating glasses and propped feet and stays put — kiln-dried twenty days so it holds flat through a forced-air winter, and any scratch spot-sands and re-oils at home. Guests set their glasses down and pause at the grain, and the owner lets the question come.
Coffee pot on a trivet, the crossword folded to today's page, one bare foot up and a low bar of Saturday light crossing the teak. Nobody checks the time until the second cup, and the sweating glass leaves a ring that wipes off oiled wood.
The board unfolds across thirty-two inches of solid teak, popcorn bowls stake out the corners, and elbows land hard on the edge all evening. Press a forearm to the corner and nothing shifts — the top has survived every rematch and spilled soda so far.
After dinner the top becomes a drawing desk — paper taped down, crayons rolling toward the grain lines, a small artist kneeling at a table finally built at their height. Tuesday's stray gouge spot-sands out on Saturday in ten minutes, and the marks read as a good run.

Tight, straight, even grain runs the full length of the tabletop — the calm, consistent figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name. A resting forearm feels dense wood warmed by the lamp, not the cold slickness of a laminate top.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and edges, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin that shrugs off a sweating glass — red wine left overnight wipes up in the morning instead of ghosting the surface.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with some of the lowest shrinkage of any hardwood, the top stays flat and true under years of feet, mugs, and board games. Twenty days in the kiln means it finished moving before the first winter arrived.
Indoors the teak keeps its honey tone and slowly deepens; only outdoor sun and rain turn it silver-grey. Either way the change is surface-thin — a light sanding and fresh oil bring the tabletop back to gold whenever daily life dulls it.
Teak boards are pulled one at a time and matched by tone and grain across the top, then kiln-dried twenty days. Stock with twist or checks never makes the cut.
The low profile is traced from templates, then cut slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the handwork on every edge.
Top and edges are sanded through successive grits until the surface feels right under a resting forearm, not merely looks right.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level, joints, and finish before the table leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
