Built around the character of teak, this media console is hand-finished so the wood still looks and feels like wood.

Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · TV stand

The calm under the screen

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

A media stand that keeps the loudest wall quiet.

The designers sculpted the base as one flowing form, opening curved arches so a long piece stands light on the floor. An artisan selects solid teak boards so the grain travels end to end — no particleboard shelf to bow under a receiver by year three — fairs each opening by hand, and oils the run until it reads as one gesture.

The media wall is the loudest surface in most homes — a black tangle of cables, boxes, and blinking lights. This stand quiets it: the router and power strip live behind the arches, the gear breathes on the open shelf, and warm wood stands where the plastic used to. When the screen finally goes dark, the room is about the teak, not the television.

  • Open shelf keeps console, soundbar, and box within reach
  • Curved arches route cables and let hot gear breathe
  • Long teak top carries the screen and the snacks
  • Low profile keeps the media wall feeling open
  • Reads as sculpture the moment the screen goes off

It fits real homes.

Friday movie night

Friday movie night

Friday night, lights down, popcorn bowls landing on the teak top, the family sorting itself onto the sofa. The TV floats over the run while every cable hides behind the curved arches — warm wood where a black wall of electronics used to be. The remotes are already where they belong.

Cord-management day

Cord-management day

Move-in weekend, the TV finally mounted. The router, the power strip, and a summer's worth of cables disappear behind the arches in an afternoon, and the wall goes from junk-drawer chaos to one quiet run of grain. The calm is the whole point.

The Sunday game

The Sunday game

Sunday afternoon, friends over for the one o'clock kickoff, drinks finding their coasters on the top. A late touchdown brings a victory stomp through the floor and the shelf does not rattle, the soundbar does not walk — the curved base just absorbs it and holds.

Teak, up close.

Grain that reads quiet

Tight, straight, even grain runs the full length of the top and across the shelf face — the calm, consistent figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name.

Grain that reads quiet

The finish nature applied

Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and curved openings, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin that never feels like plastic.

The finish nature applied

Density you can feel

At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage among the lowest of any hardwood, the long top carries a heavy television flat and true even as forced-air heat dries the room into the twenties each winter.

Density you can feel

Golden now, silver whenever

Indoors the console will not silver — the grey weathering needs outdoor UV and rain. Left inside it deepens toward honey-amber over the years, a shade warmer on a sun-facing wall, and a light sanding with fresh oil brings the whole run back to gold anytime.

Golden now, silver whenever

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

Boards are pulled one at a time and grain-matched along the full run. Stock with twist, checks, or dull figure never makes the cut.

The shaping process

The shaping process

The flowing base and its arched openings are traced from templates, then bandsawn slightly proud — leaving material for the handwork on every curve.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

The top, shelf, and every arch are sanded through successive grits until each edge feels right against an open palm.

The final inspection

The final inspection

Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker levels the top and checks shelf clearance before the stand is signed out.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Are these built for real media equipment?
TV cabinets in this collection are solid wood with ventilated compartments and cable openings placed where equipment actually sits — no particleboard shelf sagging under a receiver in year three.
Will the long top warp or bow over the years?
A long solid top is the first place fast-dried wood shows a bow, which is why ours is not dried fast. The boards sit twenty days in the kiln at a closely held temperature, releasing moisture slow and even until the wood has already done its moving. Keep the stand a couple of feet off a heat register and the top holds flat and true under the screen, one winter to the next.
Can I size it to my wall and components?
Cabinets are made to order, so length can run wall to wall and compartments size to your components. Tell us the TV size and what lives beneath it.
What setup is required?
Cabinets arrive assembled with doors hung and shelves set. Feed cables through the pre-cut rear openings; an anti-tip strap is included and recommended with a mounted or perched TV.
How do I care for it?
Dust the vents and cable openings when you dust the top, and keep drinks on coasters during game nights. A yearly wipe of oil keeps the top and doors even, and a white ring that does form lifts with a cloth and a warm dry iron in under a minute.
How does a TV cabinet arrive?
Every cabinet is made to order and freight-crated, interior braced and doors locked for transit. Tracking is provided and delivery is scheduled with you in advance.
Will my equipment fit the open shelf?
The shelf is sized for the usual suspects — a streaming box, game console, or soundbar — and because each stand is built to order, we can deepen or divide it around your exact components. Send the model names and we will confirm clearance.
