What is the wall art made from?
Wall art in this collection is worked from solid teak panels and slices — carved, joined, or arranged — so the piece has real depth and shadow, not a printed pattern on board. The panel is kiln-dried before carving, so it stays flat on the wall instead of cupping.
Can a piece be scaled to my wall?
Yes — dimensions scale to your wall since each piece is made to order. Send a photo of the space with rough measurements and we will suggest proportions that hold the wall without crowding it.
How does it hang?
Hanging hardware is fitted at the workshop — keyhole slots or a French cleat chosen by weight — with matching drywall and masonry anchors in the box. Most pieces hang level on two screws in a few minutes.
Does wooden wall art need maintenance?
Dust with a soft dry brush or cloth, and keep it off a wall that takes hard afternoon sun so the tone shifts evenly. Nothing else is required year to year; if the face ever looks thirsty, a wipe of oil brings the relief back.
How does wall art ship?
Each piece is made to order and ships flat in a rigid, foam-lined carton with the hardware taped inside. Tracking is emailed to you once the carton ships; check the corners on arrival and note any damage before signing.
Where does this carved design work best?
The relief reads strongest on a wall that gets changing daylight or a nearby lamp raking across it — above a sofa, along a hallway, or over a console. The carved openings show the wall color behind them, so it sits well on white, plaster, and deep paint alike.
