Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Continuous curves run through the frame, the asymmetry weighted so the whole piece reads as one motion. Our designers drew the wave until it balanced; the artisan selects each teak board, shapes the flowing lines by hand, and joins the shelves straight into the sides so a full row of hardcovers never bows the span.
The last shelf was particleboard, and its middle bay sagged under a year of hardcovers until the books leaned. These bays are solid teak, kiln-dried until they hold their line, so they carry the novels, the framed photos, and the one good vase flat and level. The storage wall turns into the reason people look up.
Seven thirty, pajamas on, and a small hand runs along the low wave to choose tonight's story. The curve puts the picture books exactly at kid height, and the oiled edge is smooth enough that nobody catches a finger.
An hour with coffee, moving the ceramics one bay over, standing back, moving them again. The wavy lines make every arrangement look intentional on the first try, and the low sheen of the oil warms under the afternoon lamp.
A friend spots the novel you mentioned at dinner, slides it off the curved shelf, and leaves with it under an arm. The gap stays open until it comes home, the one shelf you never quite fill back in.

Tight, straight, even grain runs along every curved shelf face — the calm figure that keeps a wavy silhouette from ever feeling restless, and stays smooth under a hand sweeping for a spine in dim lamplight.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the shelf faces and edges, deepening the golden tone where books slide in and out daily — a warm satin you can feel, with nothing to off-gas onto the paperbacks.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak, the shelves hold a full row of hardcovers flat and true through the dry pull of forced-air winter heat.
Indoors the frame deepens toward honey-amber rather than graying; silvering needs outdoor sun and rain. A light sanding and fresh oil bring the wave back to first gold whenever it asks.
Boards are pulled one at a time by selectors with thirty years at the stacks, matched by tone and grain from top shelf to base and dried twenty days in a controlled kiln. Twisted or dull stock never makes the cut.
The wave is traced from templates, then bandsawn slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork that keeps the curve continuous.
Shelf edges and curves are sanded by hand through successive grits until they feel right to a hand reaching for a book.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker loads and levels each shelf before the piece is signed out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
