Natural grain. Finished by hand.

The form of this dining table is shaped by natural grain, then its visible wood surfaces are refined and finished by hand.

Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · Dining table

The table every meal comes back to

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

A live edge above, a waterfall base below.

The freeform top keeps the tree's original outline, while the sculptural pedestal pours to the floor in one continuous waterfall of grain. Our designers balanced wild edge against clean base; the artisans choose the slab for its knots and tonal depth, then flatten and oil it by hand. Solid teak through the whole thickness, not a veneer skin waiting to chip.

This is the last kitchen table you buy, not the one you replace when the particleboard swells in a humid August. It is dense teak dried twenty days before a cut, so the top holds flat through holidays, homework, and the seasonal swing. A cheap table replaced three times in a decade costs more for a worse decade; this one becomes the address the household lives at, and someday the kids call dibs on it.

  • Elongated top seats family dinners and holiday crowds
  • Pedestal base leaves legroom clear at every seat
  • Solid teak takes hot dishes, homework, and craft days
  • Live edge makes the kitchen's centerpiece unrepeatable
  • Oil finish renews at home in twenty minutes

It fits real homes.

Pancake Sundays

Pancake Sundays

Nine in the morning, syrup threatening, sections of the paper everywhere, one kid drawing at the far end. The slow breakfast spreads across the live edge, and by ten the top wipes back to calm like the chaos never happened.

The holiday shift

The holiday shift

Thanksgiving morning the table becomes a staging line — pies cooling at one end, place cards at the other — before it seats three generations by afternoon. A hot dish on a trivet, sweating glasses, and not a single ring left behind.

After the dishes

After the dishes

Plates cleared, one candle left burning, tea going cold while the conversation refuses to end. The best hour at this table starts after the meal is over, and nobody is in a hurry to wipe it down.

Made to order

Every piece is made to order, and dimensions vary from one to the next. Need a different size for your space? Tell us your measurements and we'll build it to fit.

Teak, up close.

Grain that reads quiet

Tight, straight grain runs the tabletop's full length, then plunges unbroken down the waterfall base — the calm figure that made teak the collector's wood. Your slab's knots and edge line are yours alone.

Grain that reads quiet

The finish nature applied

Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and pedestal, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin. Cured oil is food-safe and sheds a spilled glass of wine with a wipe, no ghost ring left.

The finish nature applied

Density you can feel

At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak, the long top stays flat through holidays, Gulf-Coast humidity, and the first January the furnace runs dry.

Density you can feel

Golden now, silver whenever

Left outdoors, teak weathers to a paper-thin silver-grey. Indoors it deepens toward honey instead; a light sanding and fresh oil bring the table's gold back whenever a decade of dinners dulls it.

Golden now, silver whenever

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

The slab is chosen by thirty-year selectors for its edge line, knots, and tonal depth, then kiln-dried twenty days — a top and base whose grain can flow as one.

The shaping process

The shaping process

The waterfall base is cut so the grain turns the corner unbroken, slightly proud of final, ready for the handwork ahead.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

The top is sanded dead-flat through five grits while the live edge keeps its contour, eased only where forearms will rest.

The final inspection

The final inspection

Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level and the base's stance before the table is signed out.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Is the tabletop solid wood all the way through?
Solid teak through the entire top — no veneer, no MDF core — chosen for the one surface in the house that hosts homework, holidays, and everything between. It is thick enough to sand and re-oil for generations.
How do I choose the right size?
Tables are made to order, so we build to your seat count and room. Tell us the space and how many you host, and we will recommend a length and overhang — measure your narrowest doorway before you order.
What does setup involve?
The base attaches to the top with pre-fitted bolts and figure-eight fasteners that let the wood move with the seasons. Two people, twenty minutes, all hardware included — it arrives as a table, not a kit.
How do I care for a daily-use table?
Wipe after meals with a damp cloth and dry, and use trivets under hot dishes. Re-oil once or twice a year when the top looks thirsty — a twenty-minute ritual, and a white ring lifts with a warm dry iron in seconds.
How is a dining table shipped?
Made to order and freight-crated, top and base cradled separately. Photograph the crate before the driver leaves and note damage on the receipt; we provide tracking and schedule delivery with you in advance.
Does the waterfall pedestal base limit seating?
No — the pedestal sits toward the center of the span, so chairs slide in freely along both sides and the ends. No one ends up straddling a table leg.
