Natural grain. Finished by hand.

Built around the character of teak, this media console is hand-finished so the wood still looks and feels like wood.

Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · TV console

The wall of wires, closed behind teak

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

Where the screen meets solid wood.

The designer worked the proportions around real living rooms — shelf height for a soundbar, drawers deep enough for controllers and their cords. The teak is solid through every panel, not a film over particleboard, and the boards spend twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln before the first cut, so the drawers still run true when the furnace is on.

Under most televisions sits the messiest square yard in the house — the blinking router, the power strip, the cord bag. This console closes all of it behind wood, routes the cables out the back, and gives the wall one calm horizontal line. The screen above will be replaced twice; the teak beneath it will not.

  • Open shelf sized for a soundbar or streaming box
  • Drawers swallow remotes, controllers, and the cord bag
  • Rear openings route every cable out of sight
  • Top carries the TV with room for a lamp
  • Oiled teak wipes clean after game-night spills

It fits real homes.

Super Bowl duty

Super Bowl duty

Super Bowl Sunday, fourth quarter. The seven-layer dip holds center court on the coffee table, but the console does the quiet work — soundbar on the shelf, a sweating bottle on the top, everything wiped away Monday with the crumbs.

Saturday cartoons

Saturday cartoons

Saturday, 7 am, kids on the rug with cereal bowls, remotes exactly where the drawer kept them overnight. The console takes the bumps of a cartoon morning without recording a single one.

The cable purge

The cable purge

First weekend in the new place: the router, the strip, and every cord go behind the teak and out the pre-cut openings. The wall the TV used to dominate goes quiet before the moving boxes are even flat.

Teak, up close.

Grain that reads quiet

Tight, straight, even grain runs the length of the top and across the drawer fronts — and on movie nights it catches a little of the screen's glow, warm against all that black glass.

Grain that reads quiet

The finish nature applied

Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and sculpted front, deepening the golden tone to a satin that feels like wood under the hand, never like a coating.

The finish nature applied

Density you can feel

At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with seasonal movement about half that of oak, the top stays flat under a television through furnace winters and humid Augusts.

Density you can feel

Golden now, silver whenever

Indoors the gold holds and deepens with the years; a fresh coat of oil revives the top and drawer fronts whenever the room gets repainted around them.

Golden now, silver whenever

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

Boards for the top, shelf, and drawer fronts are pulled and matched by tone at the rack so the grain runs as one family across the piece.

The shaping process

The shaping process

The flowing front is traced from templates and bandsawn proud of the line, leaving material for the final hand-shaped curve.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

Edges, curves, and drawer pulls are sanded by hand through five grits until every reach for the remote feels right.

The final inspection

The final inspection

Oil goes on in thin coats; each drawer is fitted and run in its opening a dozen times, the shelf leveled, the whole console checked before it ships.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Are these built for real media equipment?
TV cabinets in this collection are solid wood with ventilated compartments and cable openings placed where equipment actually sits — no particleboard shelf sagging under a receiver in year three, because there is no particleboard anywhere in the build.
Can I size it to my wall and components?
Cabinets are made to order, so length can run wall to wall and compartments size to your components. Tell us the TV size and what lives beneath it and we plan the openings around your actual gear.
What setup is required?
Cabinets arrive assembled with doors hung and shelves set — no allen key, no lost Saturday. Feed cables through the pre-cut rear openings; an anti-tip strap is included and recommended with a mounted or perched TV.
How do I care for it?
Dust the vents and cable openings when you dust the top, and wipe rings when you see them — oiled teak sheds them without ghosting. A yearly coat of oil, twenty minutes, keeps the top and doors even.
How does a TV cabinet arrive?
Every cabinet is made to order and freight-crated, interior braced and doors locked for transit. Photograph the crate before the driver leaves and note anything on the receipt; delivery is scheduled with you in advance and tracking is provided.
Will my TV and soundbar fit this console?
The top is built to order, so tell us your TV's width and stand type and we size the console with margin on both sides. The open shelf is planned around a soundbar or streaming gear, with the drawers below for everything else.
