Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The top is one dramatic live-edge slab on a monolithic base — solid teak the full thickness, so there is no veneer to chip through and nothing hollow to knock on. The maker chooses the slab for its edge alone, flattens it, and oils it by hand until the grain reads deep under the dinner lights.
Solid wood dried too fast splits the first January the furnace runs — physics, not bad luck. This slab spends twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln, so its moving is finished before the first cut. Twenty years of dinners divided out, it becomes the cheapest surface in the house — and the one the kids already plan to argue over.
The Wednesday night before Thanksgiving, chairs counted twice, serving platters staged down the slab, the oiled grain going deep under the dimmed pendant. She runs a palm along the raw edge and texts her mom a photo: we've got room for everyone.
6:45 a.m., grandfather's coffee at one end. 3:30, third-grade math in the middle. Seven o'clock, every chair full. The table never really clears, and that is exactly the job it was built for.
Dishes cleared, one bottle still open, nobody moving toward the sofa. Fingers trace the live edge while the conversation runs past eleven — the part of dinner no one plans and everyone remembers.

Tight, straight grain runs the slab end to end inside its wild natural edge — and in low morning light the figure goes three-dimensional, deeper than any photograph shows it.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top, so a glass of red left out overnight wipes away in the morning instead of ghosting into the finish.
Roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with about half the seasonal movement of oak — the slab holds flat and the base stays planted through forced-air winters and humid Augusts alike.
Indoors this slab will not silver — that takes outdoor sun and rain. Expect it to deepen from honey toward caramel over its first year, warming under the room's own light.
Slabs are chosen one at a time by selectors with thirty years at the lumber stacks — for the character of the edge and the run of the grain. Twisted or checked stock never makes it.
The top is flattened and the monolithic base cut slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork that finishes both forms.
The raw edge is cleaned and softened by hand, the top sanded through five grits until forearms rest on it comfortably through a long dinner.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level, base, and finish before the table is signed out of the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
