Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
General care
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece

Most magazine holders are part of the clutter problem they claim to solve — wire that bends, acrylic that yellows, fiberboard that sags and goes to the curb with the third move. This rack is cut from solid teak, joined like furniture, finished in hand-rubbed oil. It solves the pile without joining the churn.
In the living room it does a small job for a very long time. The covers rotate weekly; the wood only deepens. Twenty years from now it will still be standing beside a chair somewhere, holding whatever the house is reading — which is more than the coffee table stack can say.

The oils
Teak grows its own protective oils, and they carry the wood through dry winters and humid summers that crack lesser boards. Spills just need wiping up promptly.
The weight
Lift a corner and you feel dense, solid stock with no hollow frames or fillers. Kiln-dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put, even when the heat comes on.
The years ahead
Teak deepens toward a richer brown as it lives with you. A wipe of teak oil twice a year holds the tone you chose.
From plank to piece.
Select
Planks graded by practiced eyes, then kiln-dried slowly until they settle.
Mill
Each board cut, squared, and matched to the pattern.
Shape
Joined and eased with hand tools after the machines have done the rough work.
Finish
Sanded fine, then oiled until the grain reads deep.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Will it actually fit what I read — art magazines, record sleeves, broadsheets?
Standard US magazines, journals, catalogs, and folded broadsheets fit as designed. Oversized art titles and twelve-inch record sleeves need the wider designs — every listing states slot width and depth, so check those two numbers against your biggest regular. Because each rack is made to order, slot dimensions can often be adjusted before the build.
How do I keep a small teak piece looking right — does it need much?
Very little, and that is by design. The boards were kiln-dried for twenty days before the first cut, so the slats will not open a check next to a winter radiator — just keep it a foot or two away, like any wood. Dust it, and once or twice a year rub in a thin coat of oil overnight.
