The form of this daybed frame is shaped by natural grain, then its visible wood surfaces are refined and finished by hand.
Only the wooden daybed frame is sold.
Not included: mattresses, bedding, pillows, bedside lighting, and nightstands; loose mounting or installation hardware; other non-wood accessories; decorative objects and styling props.
Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Every house has a guest plan it apologizes for — the air mattress losing pressure by 3 am, the sofa bed with a bar where a spine goes. A daybed answers with structure: a solid teak frame, mortise-and-tenon joints, a slatted deck that holds a real twin mattress flat, year after year.
In the sunroom it earns its keep between visits — reading perch by afternoon, landing spot at six. Then Thanksgiving fills the house, the deck takes a sleeper's full weight without a creak, and your guest wakes up without a stripe across the back. Nobody apologizes for anything.
Thanksgiving fills every bed in the house, and your brother draws the daybed — the assignment everyone pretends is a consolation. In the morning he stretches, pats the rail, and books it for next year before the coffee is on.
Tuesday, 9 am, a fever and a school absence. The patient moves onto the daybed with pillows, a screen, and standing orders for toast — in sight of the kitchen, close enough to nurse, far enough to actually rest.

Teak grows its own protective oils, and they carry the wood through dry winters and humid summers that crack lesser boards. Spills just need wiping up promptly.
Lift a corner and you feel dense, solid stock with no hollow frames or fillers. Kiln-dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put, even when the heat comes on.
Teak deepens toward a richer brown as it lives with you. A wipe of teak oil twice a year holds the tone you chose.
Planks graded by practiced eyes, then kiln-dried slowly until they settle.
Each board cut, squared, and matched to the pattern.
Joined and eased with hand tools after the machines have done the rough work.
Sanded fine, then oiled until the grain reads deep.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
