These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

This table starts with the same advantages — boards kiln-dried for twenty days, teak's low shrinkage — plus a design-minded friend who will spot it from the doorway and crouch to inspect underneath. Grain that reads quiet
Tight, straight grain runs the length of the top and rails, holding one calm line even where the afternoon sun rakes it — the figure that made teak the wood of mid-century masters.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and legs until it holds a warm satin under the reading lamp — wood to the fingertips, never a plastic film.
Density you can feel
Lift it to vacuum and the weight answers the vintage-market question by itself — solid through, no hollow tap — while teak's low shrinkage keeps the top flat and the joints tight from humid August to furnace-dry February.
Golden now, silver whenever
Indoors teak deepens toward amber rather than greying — silver needs outdoor sun and rain. A light sanding and fresh oil reset the tone any weekend you choose.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Boards are pulled one at a time and matched by tone and grain across top and rails — the judgment of selectors with thirty years at the stacks. Twisted or dull stock never makes the cut.
The shaping process
The clean mid-century lines are traced from templates, then cut a pencil width proud, leaving material for the handwork that trues every angle.
The hand refinement
Edges and faces are sanded by hand through five grits until the crisp lines feel soft against an open palm.
The final inspection
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker sets the table on a flat bench, checks level and every joint, and signs it out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

- Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
- Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
- Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Honest returns
30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.
Questions customers usually ask
What are the console tables made from?
Solid wood — often a single continuous slab for the top — hand-finished so the grain and figure remain part of the piece. No veneer over particleboard, which is why the surface can be sanded and refinished for decades, the test veneer cannot pass.
Do you build to fit narrow hallways?
Everything is made to order, so length and depth adjust to your wall or hallway. A narrow ten-inch depth for tight spots is one of our most common builds — tape the footprint on the floor first and send us the numbers.
Will I need to assemble it?
Most arrive assembled. Designs with sculptural bases ship in two parts that join with pre-fitted bolts — a ten-minute job for one person with the included key, no wordless diagrams, no leftover hardware.
What care does a console need?
Dust with a soft cloth and wipe spills promptly. An annual oiling keeps the top ready for daily use, and a white ring from a sweating glass lifts with a cloth and a warm dry iron in under a minute.
How is a console packed?
Made to order and packed in a fitted crate or double-walled carton with rigid corner guards. Photograph the packaging before the driver leaves and note anything on the receipt — if damage got through, we make it right.
Can it work as a side table instead of a console?
Yes — this design is sized to move between roles. Beside a sofa or armchair it works as a generous side table; against a wall it serves as a compact console. Tell us where it will live and we will confirm the proportions suit the spot.
