Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Each vanity begins as one oak board, chosen for figure and a clean natural edge, then shaped by hand to sixteen inches wide and eighteen deep. Oak is honest about being wood — tannin-rich and thirsty — so every board spends twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln before the first cut, dried until the moisture meter reads done and the movement is over.
Most bathroom cabinets are MDF in a moisture suit, and the first time a caulk line fails the front edge swells and never recovers. This one hangs solid wood on the wall — storage inside, floor clear beneath the mop, an edge you can sand and re-oil for decades. Months after the grout cures, it is still the piece that makes the room read finished.
6:50 on a school morning, two adults and one mirror. Razor, contacts, a coffee balanced near the oak edge while the shower fogs the glass — the storage below swallows the clutter, and the counter is wiped clear before the bus turns the corner.
Saturday dinner, second hour. A guest finds the powder room and comes back with the question the host quietly enjoys: is that edge real oak? It is the only wood in a room of cold tile, which is exactly why they stopped to touch it.
Towels folded in, backup soap behind the door, the tile floor mopped straight through underneath because nothing touches it. A wipe where water pooled at the faucet base, the fan left running — five honest minutes against a week of steam.

The vanity face shows bold cathedral arches; quarter-sawn stock throws ray fleck that shimmers under the mirror light — the figure behind a century of American Arts and Crafts furniture, best read in low morning sun.
Oak's even, tannin-rich grain takes the sealed finish cleanly across top and live edge, without blotching. Shower steam beads on the surface and rolls off instead of soaking in — warm natural tone under your hand, no plastic film.
Janka hardness near 1,350 and tyloses-plugged pores — the closed-cell structure that made oak the wood of whiskey barrels. Run the fan and wipe standing water; the wood handles the rest of bathroom life without complaint.
The oak top ages by gaining color, not wear — a slow amber shift even in a windowless bath where nothing fades it. This vanity will look more settled at year ten than the day the tile went in.
Oak boards are pulled one at a time for figure and an unbroken live edge, then dried in the kiln until the moisture meter says done. Twisted or checked stock never makes the cut.
The top and storage carcass are bandsawn slightly proud of the line, the natural edge preserved under masking tape for the handwork that follows.
Top, underside, and live edge are sanded through five successive grits until the front corner feels right against an open palm.
The moisture-resistant finish cures in thin coats, each one rubbed out by hand. The maker checks bracket seats, level, and storage fit before sign-out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
