These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The smallest room in the house gets the most character per square foot.
Our designers drew this vanity at twenty inches wide and eighteen deep, sized for the bathrooms most American homes actually have. An artisan then pulls one solid white oak board with a live edge worth keeping — no veneer over MDF, no printed grain — carves the storage by hand, and sands the counter until it reads like furniture.
Wall-mounted, it clears the floor so a mop reaches the corner and the small room breathes. Oak's tannin-rich, closed pores were shrugging off damp long before this was a vanity, and the boards were kiln-dried for twenty days, so the wood finished moving before the first cut. You wash up each morning against a surface you can name the tree for.

Across the counter, plain-sawn oak throws bold cathedral arches; catch a quarter-sawn stretch on the shelf face and it shimmers with ray fleck under the vanity light — the figure behind a century of American craft, close enough to trace while you brush your teeth.
Finishes without fuss
Oak's even, tannin-rich grain takes the hand-rubbed oil cleanly across the top and carved storage, without blotching. It arrives smelling of wood and oil, not chemicals, and holds a warm, honest tone under the flat white light bathrooms tend to have.
Barrel-grade structure
Janka hardness near 1,350 and tyloses-plugged pores — the closed-cell structure that made white oak the wood of whiskey barrels. It is why a splash beads and wipes instead of soaking in, and why this counter sits easy a couple of feet from a steamy shower.
Deepens with the decades
White oak ages by gaining color, not wear. Kept a couple of feet from the shower's worst steam and wiped dry, this top looks more settled at year ten than the morning it went on the wall.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Oak boards are pulled one at a time and matched for tone across counter and shelf, then kiln-dried twenty days so the wood is done moving. Stock with twist or dull figure never makes the vanity.
The shaping process
The floating form is traced from templates, then bandsawn slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the handwork that keeps the live edge alive.
The hand refinement
Counter, shelf, and carved storage are sanded through successive grits until the live edge feels right against an open palm.
The final inspection
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level, mounting points, and finish before the vanity leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.
Honest returns
30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Will solid oak hold up in a humid bathroom?
Yes. This vanity is solid white oak — 20 inches wide, 12 high, 18 deep — with no MDF core to swell. Oak's tannins and tyloses-plugged pores handle damp the way whiskey barrels do, and the boards spend twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln, so the wood arrives already done moving. Wipe standing water and keep it a couple of feet from the shower's steam; it holds for decades.
What lengths and depths are available?
Standard lengths run from about 16 to 36 inches, but every shelf is made to order — send us the width of your alcove or wall and we will cut to it.
What does mounting involve?
Shelves ship with concealed brackets and hardware for both studs and masonry. Anchor into at least one stud where possible; over tile, use the included anchors and a quality masonry bit.
How do I care for the wood near a shower?
Wipe standing water after showers and run the fan so the room dries. Re-oil lightly a couple of times a year when the surface looks thirsty — ten minutes, and the oil finish spot-repairs at home rather than peeling the way a film topcoat would.
How is my order packed and shipped?
Every shelf is made to order, wrapped edge to edge, and boxed with rigid corner guards. You receive tracking the day it ships from the workshop.
