Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The designers built a clean farmhouse frame, then left one thing alone: the edge the tree drew for itself. The slab is teak through its full thickness — nothing to sand through, no printed skin over a core — trued along its working lines by hand and oiled until the raw contour invites a passing palm. In October it plays haunted stage; the other eleven months it just plays coffee table.
A coffee table takes more contact than any piece in the house — controllers slammed, boots parked, a dog's tail on patrol. Marks in oiled teak sand out at home in about ten minutes, so nothing here needs policing or replacing. The particleboard version of this table is already on its second owner or its first dumpster; this one is the exit from that cycle, and it weighs like it.
Pumpkins along the live edge, candles guttering against the grain, a scary movie nobody finishes. For one month a year the table leans happily into its haunted reputation — and the dripped wax scrapes off the oiled top without a trace.
Saturday morning after a Lego-heavy week. Ten minutes, fine sandpaper, a rag of oil, and Tuesday's gouge is gone — the surface reads like nothing happened. Try that with a laminate top and you buy a new table instead.
Moving day, the busiest of the American year. The movers wrap the teak table in blankets like it matters, because it does. The flat-pack bookcase stays at the curb with a FREE sign, its third move being one too many.

Tight, straight grain runs the length of the top until it meets the wandering live edge — in raking evening light the contrast is the first thing the room shows you, and it reads differently at every hour.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and along the raw contour, a warm satin that never feels like plastic under a resting forearm — and October's candle wax lifts off it clean.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with some of the lowest shrinkage of any hardwood, the slab stays flat when the furnace runs the air bone-dry each winter — its moving finished during twenty days in a controlled kiln, long before the first cut.
Left alone outdoors, teak weathers to a refined silver-grey — a paper-thin surface change. Indoors it deepens toward amber near a sunny window, a shade a year; a light sanding and fresh oil return the gold anytime.
The slab is chosen for figure and a live edge with real character — sighted down its length for flatness first, fresh from a twenty-day kiln. Stock with twist, checks, or dull grain never makes it.
Working lines are traced and bandsawn slightly proud, while the natural edge stays exactly as the tree left it — material reserved for the handwork that follows the saw.
Top and contour are sanded by hand through successive grits until even the raw edge feels smooth against an open palm — no splinters, no snags on a passing sleeve, checked bare-handed.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level with a straightedge, loads the legs and leans on them, and signs off before the table leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
