Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Handcrafted solid wood · Bathroom vanity

A bathroom vanity built for wet mornings

The piece

Solid teak where the water lands.

Most vanities are MDF boxes wrapped in thermofoil, and the sink cutout is where they fail first — one slow drip and the core swells like a sponge. This bathroom vanity is solid teak throughout: top, doors, shelf. There is no core to swell, only wood that spas and steam rooms have trusted for decades.

In the primary bathroom that means the counter takes the morning splash zone without flinching. Wipe it down, run the fan, and the surface you touch first every day stays the surface you chose — sandable, re-oilable, repairable at home for as long as the plumbing lasts.

  • Cutouts made to order for your basin and faucet before shipping
  • Solid teak throughout — no MDF core to swell at the sink
  • Open shelf keeps towels one step from the shower
  • Penetrating oil finish sheds steam; no film to peel or cloud
  • Wipes dry in one towel pass after the morning rush

It fits real homes.

Six-forty on a Tuesday

Two toothbrush cups, one hair dryer, a watch set down by the basin. Both of you in the mirror at once, the counter absorbing the whole rush, and by seven-ten it wipes back to calm in one pass.

Nine-thirty, tub side

End of a long Thursday. The towel and the glass of wine wait on the vanity's open shelf, steam settling on wood that never goes cold the way tile does — the same teak as the steam room at the gym.

Bath night

Saturday, seven pm, a step stool and a small pair of elbows on the counter. Half the bathwater ends up on the top. A towel pass later the oiled teak reads like nothing happened, night after night, year after year.

Every piece is made to order, and dimensions vary from one to the next. Need a different size for your space? Tell us your measurements and we'll build it to fit.

Teak, up close.

The grain

Honey and amber bands run the length of each plank. No two boards repeat, so your piece is the only one with this pattern.

The oils

Teak grows its own protective oils, and they carry the wood through dry winters and humid summers that crack lesser boards. Spills just need wiping up promptly.

The weight

Lift a corner and you feel dense, solid stock with no hollow frames or fillers. Kiln-dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put, even when the heat comes on.

The years ahead

Teak deepens toward a richer brown as it lives with you. A wipe of teak oil twice a year holds the tone you chose.

From plank to piece.

Select

Planks graded by practiced eyes, then kiln-dried slowly until they settle.

Mill

Each board cut, squared, and matched to the pattern.

Shape

Joined and eased with hand tools after the machines have done the rough work.

Finish

Sanded fine, then oiled until the grain reads deep.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

How are these vanities built for a bathroom?
These floor-standing vanities are solid-wood casework with doors and drawers fitted by hand, sealed for bathroom humidity, and topped ready for your chosen sink and faucet.
What can be customized?
Every vanity is made to order: width from 24 to 72 inches, counter height, and drawer layout all adjust. Double-sink builds are a standing option at 60 inches and up.
Who handles the plumbing?
The cabinet arrives assembled with cutouts drilled to your specified fixtures. A plumber completes supply and drain hookups — standard US fittings, typically under an hour of work.
How do I maintain wood in a bathroom?
Run the fan, wipe standing water off the counter, and dry around the faucet base weekly. Refresh the finish yearly; hinges adjust if a door ever drifts.
How does a vanity ship?
Vanities travel freight in fitted crates, made to order, with hardware and templates packed inside the cabinet. Tracking and a delivery appointment come with every order.
Can you cut the top for my sink and faucet?
Yes. Every vanity is made to order, so send the cutout template or the model number of your basin and faucet. We cut the openings at the workshop and seal the exposed grain inside the cutout — the spot where water finds ordinary vanities — before it ships.
How does solid wood really hold up next to a shower?
Teak is what commercial steam rooms and spa benches are made of — wetter duty than any home bath. Two habits cover the rest: run the fan while showering, and wipe standing water after the rush. Black spots, if they ever appear, are soap residue sitting on the wood rather than the wood failing — a rinse and a soft scrub clears them.
