Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Each sink starts as one block of solid walnut. The carver follows the flow of water rather than a fixed pattern, so every bowl curves differently; then the surface is hand-sanded and sealed inside and out with a water-resistant, non-toxic finish made for daily use — one solid block, with no glued staves to seep at a seam.
The doubt is fair — a wooden sink sounds like it should swell and split. This one is a single dense block sealed like a boat hull, so hot and cold water run over it daily without reaching the wood beneath. On the counter it changes the temperature of the whole room: chocolate-brown grain where cold porcelain used to be, and the detail guests mention on the way out the door.
The first hand-wash of a winter morning, steam rising off walnut instead of ceramic. The grain shifts under the moving water like something alive, and the rim is warm to the touch where tile and porcelain never are.
A guest reaches for the tap, stops, and touches the rim first — is that actually wood? Every powder-room visit ends with the same question carried back to the dinner table.

Straight grain broken by curls, waves, and darker mineral streaks sweeps around the bowl — chocolate tones from the tree itself, never from a stain, and no two basins ever repeat.
Walnut polishes to a smooth, lustrous depth, and the sealed rim still pulls a hand across it almost involuntarily — cool and glassy under wet fingers, warm and soft under dry.
At about 1,010 on the Janka scale, the walnut walls shrug off the daily knock of a dropped bottle or a ring set down hard, without the brittle chipping a thin ceramic glaze suffers.
Out of direct sun, walnut settles into a warmer, more personal patina each year of use, softening in tone rather than tiring; a bright window would slowly lighten it, so a shaded wall keeps it deep.
Walnut blocks are chosen one at a time for sound, unbroken figure, then dried until the moisture meter says done so the bowl will not check after sealing. Stock with checks or dull grain never becomes a basin.
The bowl is carved slightly proud of its final curve, each one following the block's own grain rather than a fixed template.
Inside and rim are sanded through successive grits until wet hands find no edge, only curve.
The waterproof sealer goes on in thin coats, worked hardest into the end grain. The maker checks the bowl, drain fit, and finish before the sink ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
